「今のキッチンで一緒に料理すると、たいがいケンカになっちゃうんだよね」
料理好きの友人カップルからそう相談を受けて始まった、このキッチンリノベーション。

元々あった小さなシステムキッチンは、一人で料理するにもやっとなほどの狭い空間に押し込まれていて、そりゃケンカにもなるわ！といった状態でした。

窓からの光を遮らないサイズの冷蔵庫を一番奥の目立たない場所に設置し、これまでデッドスペースとなっていた空間に、引き出し収納をびっしり詰め込んだ広々としたキッチンカウンターを作りました。

またその延長線上には、リビングダイニング用の収納付きベンチシートをキッチンと同じ仕様で製作することで、部屋全体に一体感をもたせています。
キッチン天板は、掃除がしやすく実用性の高いステンレス、吊り戸棚には以前使っていたフードストックケースがぴったり収まるサイズで設計しました。

この生まれ変わったキッチンで、二人で仲良く楽しくご飯を作ってもらえていると想像すると、とてもうれしい気持ちになります。

This kitchen renovation began when friends, a couple who love cooking asked for our advice.The original tiny system kitchen was crammed into a small space where it was difficult to cook alone, so it’s no wonder they ended up fighting!

We installed a refrigerator that doesn’t block the light from the window in an inconspicuous place at the very back, and created a spacious kitchen counter filled with drawers in the space that had been a dead space before. As an extension of that, we also created a bench seat with storage for the living and dining area to the same specifications as the kitchen, giving the whole room a sense of unity.

The kitchen countertop is made of stainless steel, which is easy to clean and highly practical, and the wall cupboards were designed to fit the food storage cases that they already owned. It’s very heartwarming to imagine the two of them cooking happily together in this kitchen design around their needs.
